FAQ
For Meat Box deliveries
We usually use APC Overnight but may occasionally use Royal Mail or DPD too. You should receive an estimated delivery time slot via text or email on the morning of your delivery.
What if I am not in for my meat delivery
Our couriers are asked to leave our boxes in a safe space if there is one available. You should be able to tell them where you’d like it left via their online tracking system. If you aren’t home and it can’t be left in a safe space the courier will usually reattempt the delivery on the next working day. The boxes should keep it cold long enough for that. If a delivery was attempted but you weren’t home, then unfortunately we can’t refund or replace it as it is your responsibility to be home for the delivery.
Storing our Meat
We sell or meat frozen.
Our meat is vacuum pack it is safer and easier to store. As the air has been removed from the packaging, the meat will stay fresh for up to 10 days in the refrigerator providing it is kept between 0-3 degrees C. Meat can be stored for 6 months or more in the freezer (check your freezer temperature and guidelines).
When vacuum packed meat is opened any slight smell soon disappears and the taste is not affected. Allow the meat to thaw (if frozen), drain and breathe before cooking.
